At Chronicle Publishing House, we strive to provide quality publications and a satisfactory shopping experience. Please read the following policy carefully before placing an order.
1. E-Books (Digital Publications)
- All E-Book purchases are generally non-refundable once the download link has been issued or digital access has been provided.
- Refunds or replacement files may be considered if an E-Book is corrupted, incomplete, inaccessible or significantly different from its description.
- Customers must report such issues within 7 days of purchase.
2. Paperback and Hardcover Books
- Return or replacement requests must be submitted within 7 days of delivery.
- Returns are accepted for books received in damaged, defective, misprinted or incorrect condition, including missing or duplicated pages.
- Books must be unused and returned in their original condition and packaging, wherever applicable.
- Returns are not accepted for change of mind, incorrect customer selection, or damage caused after delivery by the customer.
3. Order Cancellation
- Orders may be cancelled before dispatch.
- Once dispatched, cancellation may not be possible and the applicable return policy will apply.
- E-Book orders cannot generally be cancelled once digital access has been provided.
4. Refunds
- Approved refunds will generally be initiated within 7–14 business days.
- Refunds will be processed through the original payment method, subject to payment provider timelines.
- Shipping charges may be refunded where the error or damage is attributable to Chronicle Publishing House.
- Eligible cases of non-delivery will be reviewed for replacement or refund.
5. Return and Refund Procedure
To request a return, replacement or refund, customers must email us within the applicable reporting period with:
- Order number and registered email address.
- Reason for the request.
- Photographs or videos of the damaged or incorrect product, wherever applicable.
Please obtain return authorisation before sending any product back.
