Mr. Rupak Kumar Taye is currently working as a Programme Assistant (Fisheries Science) at Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nagaon, under Assam Agricultural University, Jorhat. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries Science and an M.F.Sc. in Fish Processing Technology. His research interests include fish processing, traditional fish products, aquaculture nutrition, fish seed management and sustainable fisheries. He has contributed to 19 scholarly publication records, including research papers, book chapters, technical books and popular science articles. His notable contributions cover indigenous fish fermentation, traditional aquaculture practices, functional fish products, aquafeed development, ornamental fisheries and sustainable fish farming. He has also contributed to publications in Scientia Review and authored chapters in the book Seeds of Hope.
